What that means here
Items in your list can show a small 🛒 button. It opens an Amazon search for the words in that item — type "shower caddy" and the button searches Amazon for a shower caddy. Where it does and doesn't affect anything
- Nothing is a recommendation. The button searches the words you typed. No brand pays to appear, no product is promoted, and no result is chosen or ranked by this site — that's all Amazon's search.
- The suggested items are not sponsored. When a new list offers you a head start ("mattress topper", "shower shoes"), those come from a fixed list written into the app of things people forget. Nobody paid for a place on it.
- You can turn the buttons off. Every list has a 🛒 Buy links switch, and turning it off removes them from that list entirely.
What Amazon knows
Clicking through takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's privacy policy applies. The link carries a search term and a tracking tag that tells Amazon the visit came from here.
